Join us for a milestone celebration as Mountainfilm on Tour marks its 25th year at WaterColor Marina Park, inspiring audiences with two nights of powerful outdoor film screenings on November 7 & 8, 2025. For over two decades, this beloved WaterColor event has captivated, educated, and entertained under the stars. Each year, a curated selection of films from the renowned Telluride-based Mountainfilm Festival is taken on the road to reach new audiences across the country. The films selected for the WaterColor shows in Santa Rosa Beach, Florida, highlight Mountainfilm’s mission of exploring cultures, preserving environments, and promoting adventure.

WaterColor Marina Park offers a stunning natural setting for this two-night outdoor event, with a starry sky that enhances the impact of each moving story. A Mountainfilm presenter will guide attendees through the program, offering background on the films, filmmakers, and the topics explored.

WaterColor's Mountainfilm on Tour is celebrating its 25th year, and we’re marking the milestone with a special VIP experience! This year’s exclusive VIP tickets include access to a 1-hour Anniversary Celebration Reception prior to the start of the films. Enjoy live music, drinks, light hors d’oeuvres, a complimentary commemorative gift and more!

The biggest perk? VIP ticket holders get early access to set up their chairs before the gates open for the show.

Our 2025 WaterColor® Mountainfilm on Tour short-sleeve shirts will be sold at the event and available online and at the WaterColor Store for $25*. You may also purchase an event shirt as part of your ticket package before Sunday, October 19th.

Shirts are SoftShirts 200 Classic Short Sleeve tees in the color Silver, available in adult sizes S, M, L, XL & 2XL. Shirts are 100% BCI Combed Ringspun Cotton; dyed with Low Impact Dyes and BioWashed to remove most shrinkage for the ulimate softness and Lint Free surface.

Event Playlists

WaterColor Mountainfilm on Tour will feature a collection of culturally rich, adventure-packed and engaging documentary short films that align with Mountainfilm’s mission to use the power of film, art and ideas to inspire audiences to create a better world. A presenter will guide the audience through the program each evening, providing insight on the films, filmmakers and subjects.

The Friday and Saturday Night Playlist will be posted closer to the event dates.

Things to Know

Bring a blanket or low-back chairs for seating (chair backs must not exceed 30 inches from the ground- this restriction will be enforced). A designated section at the back will be available for chairs that exceed the height limit, as a courtesy to other attendees.

Only VIP ticketholders and Premier Sponsors may set chairs before gates open at 6 PM. All other early-placed chairs will be removed.

A 15-minute intermission will take place halfway into the program.

No outside food, beverages, or coolers allowed inside the event gates. A curated selection of event fare, wine, beer, and liquor will be available for purchase before and during the show. Bags, backpacks, and other personal items will be subject to inspection upon entry.

Household pets are not permitted at the event.

Children ages 8 and under may attend free of charge; however, please note that the event is designed for an adult audience. Some films may include adult language and/or loud sound levels that may not be suitable for young children. Parental discretion is advised. Children ages 9 and up require a regular ticket for entry.

Restroom are located at the nearby Marina Park Pool.

Parking will be limited due to other community events. Please utilize Van Ness Butler Jr. Regional Beach Access public parking lot (1931 E County Hwy 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, FL 32459).

The WaterColor® Mountainfilm on Tour event is a rain or shine event; tickets are non-refundable unless the event is canceled or postponed.

Pricing is tiered with discounted rates available through September 30, 2025. Regular pricing will apply from October 1 through November 6, 2025. If available, ticket prices will increase on the day of the event. Discounts do not apply to VIP tickets.
