A whole lot of fun for our littlest guests! Camp WaterColor keeps kids busy all day long with crafts, activities and games that let them use their imagination and have a blast with other kids their age.
Camp WaterColor – Activities at Camp
The key to a great family vacation is to make sure there’s fun for everyone, and that’s why we offer programs for all ages! Beginning in March the Beach Club has free daily activities such as, sand art, watercolor painting, tug-o-war, beach volleyball, hula hoop contest, water balloon toss, pool games, and Bingo. For ages 4-12, Camp WaterColor provides 2 sessions, from 9am-12pm or 12pm-3pm, Monday – Saturday in the Spring and daily in the summer. Our Kid's Night Out is a themed nightly program that includes crafts, games, dinner, and movies year round. Some of our favorite themes are Nature Adventure, Weird Science, Crazy Cooks, Looney Luau, and Spies Like Us. We also offer specialty Camps, such as Drama, Music, Soccer, Art, Cheerleading, and Science for those who want something different than our traditional day camp. The Seaside Repertory Theatre performs "Stinky Cheese Man and Other Fairly Stupid Tales" each Tuesday evening at 7:30 pm from May 27th through August 12th in Marina Park. Free for WaterColor guests.
We have lots of new things happening at Camp WaterColor for 2008. Our goal is to become the recreation hub for the resort, by offering programs for children, teens, and families. Beginning each week in March we are offering "Music though Movement”, a weekly class for toddlers ages 2-5. We also are opening a Tween & Teen Lounge for ages 9-up that offers ping-pong, pool, shuffleboard, XBOX 360, Nintendo Wii, karaoke, music, drinks and snacks.
Holidays are special at WaterColor with our unique programming. Our Mommy and Me tea, Mother/Daughter spa specialties, and Mother/Son Captain's Choice at Origins Golf course will all take place on Mother's Day Weekend. These are but a few of our special holiday events.
