U.S. retail gasoline prices fell sharply over the last two weeks, just below $4 a gallon, and industry analysts say they might fall even farther. According to a July 27 Lundberg nationwide survey of about 7,000 gas stations, the U.S. average retail price for self-serve, regular unleaded gasoline fell to $3.9959, down nearly 12 cents from two weeks earlier.
